New and old faces are all welcome to come and enjoy the day

"We are looking forward to resuming commentary duties ahead of what is billed to be an exciting season ahead for Slough"
- Hockey FM

We are all looking forward to our first HockeyFest Club Day this Saturday. All existing and any potentially new players are welcome to come down at any point and please stick around for a drink and some FREE FOOD whilst you chat to new and old faces.

There will be some fantastic hockey on show - starting off with the Swifts v Despondents with live commentary from HockeyFM for that one no doubt! The womens 1st XI will be playing National league North side Leicester at 1pm and the men are up against South Berks at 4pm.

We have our partners Kingfisher beer ensuring everyone is kept refreshed throughout the day plus there are rumours that one of Paps' legendary curries are going to be offered to all that attend!

The Gym Group are going to be there, giving those that have a morning game or session a good warm-up. Plus they'll be on hand to offer any fitness advice and will be giving out an exclusive code for a discounted membership. They are based just on the Farnham Road and have a huge gym, so a great place to workout off the pitch.

Don't forget that Slough Anti-Litter Society will also be there with the tools to be able to upcycle your old playing shirts, shorts, skorts and socks. No matter what state they might be in, bring them down and spend a few minutes helping create a masterpiece by upcycling all the old kit! We are hoping this will then be displayed next year in the town's main shopping centre as part of a wider community initiative, so get your creative hats on.

And finally the Hockey Centre will be there selling all the latest sticks, shoes, gloves, kitbags, grips etc. so you can get prepped and ready for the season ahead.

It's going to be a great day so make sure you spend some time watching the hockey and socialising with new and old club mates.
