It is with great sadness that Slough HC has learned of the passing of Deborah Hayhurst (nee Paris). Deb passed away after a brave 3 year battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

Deb was a legendary member of the Slough 2s team and also coached in the junior set up. Her dry wit and determination on the pitch endeared her to all and she was a hugely valued club member.

Deb fought her battle with MND with her trademark courage, realism and positivity – a truly inspirational individual.

It is devastating that she has been taken so soon and she will be sadly missed by all at Slough HC .

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ray and Phe, and Mella and all the Paris family.
