An unbeaten record sees Slough 1s qualify for the finals in Derby

"Fantastic squad performance from everyone throughout the weekends and we now need to focus on the job ahead"
- Kali Takher, Women's 1st team Coach

Slough women's 1s maintained an unbeaten record throughout the two qualifying weekends to finish second in the Premiership Indoor League, qualifying comfortably for the finals.

Some excellent performances saw Slough more than hold their own against the Premiership outdoor sides such as Surbiton, East Grinstead, Buckingham and Bowdon Hightown. Buckingham top the table having also not lost throughout the 8 games.

The results were as follows:
Slough 1 - 0 Leicester City
Surbiton 2 - 3 Slough
East Grinstead 2 - 2 Slough
Slough 8 - 1 Guildford
Slough 7 - 1 Bowdon Hightown
Harleston Magpies 5 - 5 Slough
Slough 4 - 2 Repton
Slough 3 - 3 Buckingham

Jordan Homann also tops the goalscoring table with 12 goals from the two weekends. Both Harriet Ward and Mel Ball also on the leading scorers table with 6 and 5 goals respectively. Slough finished with second most goals scored as well, having netted 33 times.

After an immense run and many memorable battles against Slough, Bowdon Hightown are sadly relegated from the Premiership alongside Leicester City.

The men's table sees Surbiton relegated and Old Georgians, Sevenoaks, Wimbledon and Hampstead and Westminster qualify.

Lower down in Division One it looks like Beeston will qualify for promotion to the Premiership for the first time ever in the women's league alongside Reading, with Sutton Coldfield narrowly missing out. The men will also see a welcome return for Southgate and Canterbury next year, two previous indoor powerhouses that will be hoping to replicate days of old.

Congratulations to the mighty Pink n Blacks, the club is very proud of what you've achieved!
