Save the date for our Club Day!

Our first Club Day will be happening on Saturday, Sept 10 so get the date in your diary!

Most of the club will be playing throughout the day with exhibition matches from the women's and men's first teams happening at 1pm and 4pm respectively.

There is a juniors training session as well as a women's club session and the whole day will start off with a true spectators game of the Mens 3s v 4s. Hockey FM will be out in full force for that one!

We will also have an area for Slough Anti-Litter Society as we've been asked to be part of a local community project promoting recycling and upcycling. Anyone can get involved and help create an artistic representation of our club that will then get displayed in Slough as part of a bigger art project from the town, early next year.

So please bring down your old Slough kit (playing shirts, shorts, skorts, holey socks etc!) as we will be using that as the basis of our upcycling project. We are particularly encouraging those under 18 that love arts and crafts to come down and spend some time being creative. The Slough Anti-Litter Society will be providing the equipment to cut, shape and remake - all we need is some talented minds!

On the subject of old kit...
We'd also like you to donate any old equipment from sticks, shinpads and shoes through to gloves and stickbags - we want it all. The intention being that it will all find new homes as we help support those that might need a bit of a helping hand and can't afford a brand new stick for instance, or otherwise it will help bolster our junior offering by providing newbies with some basic equipment to be able to play the sport we all love.

So bring it all down and it will get a good home either way!

Throughout the day we will have some of our partners also making appearances as well, more to follow on that soon.

So put it in your diary now and keep September 10, FREE!
