If hockey matches lasted 10minutes then not only would bars do a brisker trade but Slough would have their first win of the season in the extremely challenging Higgins London League Division 7.

As it was Slough's 2 great early goals from Surjit Sandhu and Jas Sira respectively were cancelled out by 2 lapses that allowed Barnes to equalise. The first was a short corner where Barnes changed the angle and then put the ball between keeper and post man who was still in position to cover the straight shot, while the second was from inattention as a quick free hit was taken.

After that both sides has chances but were unable to convert and in the end 2-2 was a fair result.

Due to the extremely late start, some players had to leave before the end, but Daniel Buckeldee did enough in the first period to earn man of the match with an extremely assured display.
